The best there is February 17, 2010 ok4ablonde (at my computer) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My cats are indoor-only cats but due to my neighbors having free-roaming outdoor cats, I pick up fleas myself when I'm outside doing yard work and bring them inside. I've been using the Frontline Plus on my cats ever since it first came out. At one time I had 4 cats, and none of them had a "serious" reaction (more on that later). I tried Advantage but it didn't seem to work as well - I still found a flea or two and I was very diligent on applying it every month at the same time. One thing I don't like about any of these spot-on treatments is the slight greasy spot it makes on the area between their shoulder blades where it is applied, but it disappears after a day or so.
Also, when you apply this if any runs down towards the front leg area, I recommend wiping it off. My oldest cat was much smaller than my others (she weighed 6 lbs.) and some ran down her leg where she licked it off before I could catch her to wipe it off myself. She immediately started drooling and foaming at the mouth and I was very afraid it was going to make her sick. Thankfully, it did not, and she went back to being herself 5 minutes later. But it was a worrisome 5 minutes for ME.

Product works well for my babies. Never had a problem ordering anything from Amazon. Prices great and sometimes free shipping. Can't beat that.
Don't buy online February 12, 2010 Jeff Smurthwaite (Pleasanton, CA USA) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
We have been using Frontline for our cats for years with great results. However, we started buying online the last few orders and began seeing ticks and fleas on our cats, but not our dog (we buy Frontline for our dog at the vet). We talked to our veterinarian and to my daughter (also a vet) and they both said that online Frontline is often expired and repackaged or fake. So beware of buying Frontline online and get it from your vet. The extra $20 is worth not seeing disgusting ticks and fleas on your animals.
still have fleas February 8, 2010 Lisa (georgia) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am sorry to say that this is the first time in a long time that I have used Frontline and my cats came home with fleas. Usually I use advantage, but thought I would change. I have heard from others that the fleas have become accustomed to this product since it has been available for many years. I don't know for sure, but I switched back to advantage.
